And this is my life… i miss irish dance soo f**king much. i will get back into it and KICK BUTT ( literally and figuratively…) it is my passion and one of the few things I really really love more than anything… ive been without it for way too long
Day 7- A picture of your favorite trophy/medal.
My favorite medal is my medal from the 2009 NANs. I went into that Nationals feeling completely unprepared and was just planning on dancing my best and hoping to do better than the year before. In my soft shoe round, I fell pretty hard and thought my dreams of a recall were gone, even my teacher said I didn’t have a chance at that point because of the fall. The judges let me redance and I danced one of the best reels of my life. I was in tears when I found out I recalled because it was the first time I had ever recalled at Nationals. I danced a great set and ended up placing 31st, which was unbelievable to me because I had only gotten 32nd at the Oireachtas. I love that medal because it stands for one of the biggest accomplishments in my dance career.
